Lou Malandra, founder of ALM Publications and Recordings, began his career in the Arts after graduating from Denver University earning the MFA Degree in Acting (1974) and the MA Degree in Theatre (1972).

Malandra has been highly acclaimed for his many accomplishments and wisdom shared.

PoeJazz has spent the last couple of months recording. It's an exciting, exhausting, well worth the time and effort process. We're pleased with  the results. 

On June 25, we'll play a lot of this great new material, as well as the hits from our first two CD's outdoors at the Cafe Terra Cotta, 5649 South Curtice Street, in beautiful downtown Littleton. 6:30pm is our start time, and reservations are going fast, so please phone, 
(303) 794-6054 for reservations.  It promises to be a beautiful evening of great music, food, beverage, in the newly flowered gardens provided by the best Landscaping Company, Designs by Sundown.  We're looking forward to an enchanting evening amongst the flowers with you in the gardens of the Cafe, June 25. Today's a great day to phone for reservations.

And don't forget Lou serves poetry nightly at the Cafe, especially for anniversaries, birthdays, graduations, and other special occasions.  A poetry dinner at the Cafe Terra Cotta, with its intimate atmosphere is a great way to celebrate just being alive, even.  Make your reservations for your occasion at the cafe, and let them know you want Lou and poetry. The Lou Malandra Trio blends the exquisite jazz pianist, Doug Roche, the incomparable Bass playing of Ron Bland, and the rich voice of a poet, Lou Malandra.  Together, the Trio creates the most harmonious compositions of poetry and jazz.  "PoeJazz", is the affectionate name the fella's give their work.  Malandra sums it all up when introducing these gifted artists, "These gentlemen are Jazz, and they call me Poe!".
