 Lou Malandra, founder of ALM Publications and Recordings, began his career in the Arts after graduating from Denver University earning the MFA Degree in Acting (1974) and the MA Degree in Theatre (1972).

Malandra has been highly acclaimed for his many accomplishments and wisdom shared.

  • Authored three successfully produced plays, All About Us, Artigiano, Cosima
  • Formed the Lou Malandra Trio
  • Poet Laureate of Denver International Airport
  • Published Three Books of Poetry - Reflections of a Personal Nature, From the Beginning, Poems by Age 50
  • Active in Education as Adjunct Professor, Elementary, Middle, and High School Tutor

Friends ~

You are cordially invited to an evening of Summer Fun, Monday, June 30, 6pm, at the home and Studios of ALM Publications & Recordings,

5510 South Curtice Street, Littleton, Colorado 80120.  PoeJazz plays at 7pm, along with guest poets and musicians, slammin’, jammin’ there axes for your listening enjoyment.

The Barbecue will tingle your taste buds, the beer will quench your thirst, and so will the sodas for all the children.  Please bring your children.  They will frolic in the beautiful bloomin’ backyard Sanctuary compliments of the award winning, Landscape

Designers at Designs By Sundown.  The backyard is a beautiful thing.

We are also celebrating the ‘after the fire’ re-release of Inside You.


 

The Lou Malandra Trio blends the exquisite jazz pianist, Doug Roche, the incomparable Bass playing of Ron Bland, and the rich voice of a poet, Lou Malandra.  Together, the Trio creates the most harmonious compositions of poetry and jazz.  "PoeJazz", is the affectionate name the fella's give their work.  Malandra sums it all up when introducing these gifted artists, "These gentlemen are Jazz, and they call me Poe!".
